Not only is the guide Clayton very knowledgeable about what he does, he also goes over and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your time with him. My wife was talking about eating fish and chips from a "local shop" where locals buy he went out of his way to surprise us with a free meal and drinks after the trip. - Happy with the fish produced - Happy with the guides service - Beautiful day spent in scenic surroundings At the end of the day it felt more like a friend gained than a guided trip. Will Tombs2023-01-10We've fished all round the world and this trip was one of the best to date. Clayton and his team are exceptional fishermen with a huge amount of knowledge of the Cape peninsula and surrounding areas. We were particularly impressed with the level of craftsmanship that goes into bait, reconstructing squid and octopus parts to create realistic, bouyant imitation baby squid... These baits caught us 3 x spotted gullys c.50-60lb and a smoothound within a 3-4 hour period. Amazing day out and great company from the guides, rounded off with beers and seafood at a local spot. I Fish for carp back in the UK but what a buzz when i had a shark on just ripping the line out of the reel. Unfortunately it got off after a 10 minute fight.
